President of CFA Society Poland, Professor of Economic Sciences at Wroclaw University of Economics (title given by the President of Poland in 1992), Head of Finance Management Institute. He is member in scientific and professional organizations: Member of Executive Board of Committee of Statistics and Econometrics of Polish Academy of Sciences, Member of Executive Board of Committee of Financial Sciences of Polish Academy of Sciences , Member of Executive Board of Committee of Economic Sciences of Polish Academy of Sciences. His research interests are: financial markets and instruments, risk management, corporate finance, real estate, insurance and quantitative methods (econometrics, statistics).He was a member of the Scientific Council of the National Bank of Poland and a member of the Supervisory Board of Warsaw Stock Exchange.
Vice-president of CFA Society Poland and former Chief Digital Officer of Bonnier Business and Editor-in-Chief of Bankier.pl, the biggest Polish website for investors. Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the board of CFA Society Poland. He studied at the Cracow University of Economics, the University of Bedfordshire, the Warsaw School of Economics and the Warsaw University of Technology.
 
Julia Susanne Orlich, IMC is Associate Relationship Manager, EMEA at CFA Institute, working in the Institutional Relations team. Based in London, Julia manages CFA Institute’s relationships with financial services firms such as asset managers, asset owners, banks and professional services firms across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, always working in close partnership with local CFA member societies. Julia Orlich joined CFA Institute in 2014, shortly after graduating from university, and has held other project management and administrative roles in the organisation before starting her current role in 2017. Julia Orlich holds a BA(Hons) degree in Theatre Dance from University of the Arts London and is a CFA Society UK Investment Management certificate holder as well as a CFA Institute Investment Foundations certificate holder.
Nikunj Nadar has been with State Street Corporation since Nov 2013 where he started in State Street Global Exchange (SSGX) Analytics business, servicing investment clients with risk reporting, advisory and operational support on their risk holdings. Nikunj Nadar took on a role as deputy head of State Street Global Advisors (asset management arm of State Street Corporation) Poland in Jan 2019 to set up the Poland branch and work on global hub strategy with this new strategic initiative. Prior on joining Global Advisors, Nikunj Nadar was serving as head of the State Street Global Exchange in Poland since Nov 2015 where Nikunj Nadar relocated to Krakow from Dublin, Ireland. Under SSGX Poland, Nikunj was managing department covering three main business lines i.e. Analytics, DataGX and Software Solutions servicing around 200+ investment clients (asset managers, hedge funds, pension funds, asset owners and regulatory clients) with risk analytics, stress analysis, sensitivity scenarios, operational support, DataGX, Data Operations, Transparency, investment compliance servicing clients, MIG21. Nikunj Nadar holds an FRM Charter from GARP (Global Association of Risk Professionals), FCCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) and Masters of Business Administration (specialized in Financial Management) from Dublin Business School. Nikunj has circa. 13+ years of Irish banking / financial services experience with 7+ years in risk analytics, group treasury, asset & liabilities and ERM.
 
Aneta Kocemba-Muchowicz joined Credit Suisse in 2008 and has held a variety of leadership roles within Investment Banking and Capital Markets over the years. Between 2012–2016 she was the Head of Investment Banking for Poland and Central & Eastern Europe, and was responsible for the origination and execution of investment banking transactions in the region such as, among others, Santander’s acquisition of Kredyt Bank, Initial Public Offering of PZU and numerous capital markets and M&A transactions. In her current role she is responsible for the Warsaw office operations and implementation of Credit Suisse global Business Delivery Center strategy and vision in Warsaw. Before joining Credit Suisse Aneta Kocemba-Muchowicz worked in CA IB and Citi where she focused on investment banking transactions. Aneta Kocemba-Muchowicz received an MA in Banking and Finance with distinction from the University of Warsaw and an Executive MBA from the Warsaw University of Technology.
Piotr Sieradzan has 14-years experience in financial industry, especially in management of assets in Central and Eastern Europe and investment companies management. As CIO of Trigon Group - Polish Boutique Investment Bank (2010-2012) he built and developed asset management and mutual funds business. He managed the leading asset management team in Poland (No. 1 results among all asset managers of individual accounts in 2011 according to ranking of Polish financial newspaper – Parkiet Daily). CIO and CEO, Pocztylion-Arka (2007-2010) – a $1bn Pension Fund, a joint venture with Invesco Group – managing the balanced fund with over 40% invested in equities. In 2008 the fund ranked third in a peer group of 15 pension funds in Poland and consistently beat its benchmark. As Portfolio Manager in SEB Investment Management (2005-2007) he managed Polish and international investment funds, including one of the biggest regional equity funds from Central and Eastern Europe, investing mainly in Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Russia, Baltics, Romania, Turkey, Russia and Kazakhstan for Swedish, German and Baltic countries clients. Piotr Sieradzan graduated from Warsaw University (Faculty of Law and Administration) and Warsaw School of Economics (Faculty of Banking and Finance) and received his Ph.D. in Economics from Warsaw School of Economics
Over 15 years of experience on global markets with expertise in strategic growth management, transformation and leadership.

Since 2014 is a Managing Director at S&P Global Ratings, executing across three senior commercial roles:
- Head of Europe, Middle East and Africa Relationship Management: leading a regional team managing entire EMEA existing client book & relationships across all sectors: corporates, financial institutions, sovereigns & public sector and also running the infrastructure and project finance business.
- Regional Head for Central and Eastern Europe (CEE): driving the franchise, strategy and management of the ratings business across the region.
- General Manager for Poland, running day-to-day operations of the Warsaw office.

From 2016 is a member of the Supervisory Board / Non-Executive of MCI Capital S.A., a leading Warsaw Stock Exchange listed private equity firm investing in the digital economy across Emerging Europe. Member of the Board of Directors at the American Chamber of Commerce in Poland (AmCham) and the Leslaw A. Paga Foundation.

Actively engaged in the Fintech industry, through S&P, MCI and as chairman of the program board for FutureTech and Fintech Digital CEE - region’s premiere digital economy conferences. Recognized as a leading industry figure and an influential speaker, with visibility across top-tier media. Passionate about social responsibility, actively mentoring and developing future leaders of the Polish capital market and educating young entrepreneurs.

Before joining S&P was an Executive Director at J.P. Morgan Corporate and Investment Bank in London, where he covered Russia, CIS, CEE, and Israel for Markets and Investor Services. He was also the Deputy General Manager for J.P. Morgan CIB in Poland. Prior to 2007 spent five years with Citi Corporate and Investment Banking, operating in Poland and CEE.

Before joining UBS worked in investor relations at Asseco Poland and Tailors Group. Former business journalist for Reuters, Dow Jones, and The Wall Street Journal. Jagiellonian University graduate.
Brent Watson is Head of the Warsaw Office and Head of Operations for Warsaw. He serves on the Warsaw People Development Council and is the Warsaw lead for the EMEA Operations Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Network and senior sponsor for the Warsaw Women’s Network.
Previously, Brent Watson was Head of Portfolio and Data Control in GSAM Asset Management. Prior to that, he was Global Head of Trade Management, Bank Loans, Collateral and Funding Operations within Asset Management Operations. Earlier in his career, Brent was Head of Global Control, managed Corporate and Municipal Bond Operations and led Fixed Income and Equity Operations in the Toronto office. Brent joined Goldman Sachs as an associate in 1994 and became a vice president in 1998. He was named managing director in 2008. Prior to joining the firm, Brent worked at Royal Bank of Canada Dominion Securities. Brent Watson earned a BA in History from Carleton University in 1988.
Graduate of Applied Social Sciences at Warsaw University and postgraduate HR Management Studies at Warsaw University & Coaching at Warsaw School of Economics. She has about twelve years of experience in both headhunting agencies and internal HR departments (Agora, EY). At BGK responsible for conducting the recruitment projects and employer branding area. She strongly believes in the importance of social media & modern technologies as a support in building the professional personal brand.
Graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw. He has been active on the capital markets for his entire career. In 1994, he joined the Polish Securities Commission (currently: the Polish Financial Supervision Authority). He served as Deputy Head of its Legal Department starting in 1997 and as Head of the Legal Department from 2000 to 2005. He was a member of the Examination Committee for Investment Advisors from 1999 to 2004. He has been the President of the Chamber of Fund and Asset Management since 1 July 2005. He was a supervisory board member of the Warsaw Stock Exchange from February to August 2008. In parallel, he is engaged in research and teaching in the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw, primarily concerning the operation of the capital markets. He has written multiple publications on the capital markets. He is also a member of the European Law Institute (ELI), a prestigious organization that brings together Europe’s best legal experts. He was appointed to the task force of experts formed by the Chancellery of the President of Poland to review proposed amendments to the bill on FX loans. Privately, he is an avid player of bridge and chess.
Dmitrij Katkov is a financial analyst, consultant and lecturer with extensive experience in wealth and investment strategy development. He holds lecturing posts at LCC International University, ISM University of Management and Economics and the University of Plymouth. He has taught in 21 countries around the world. His research areas are personal finance, financial strategy and Islamic finance. Currently Dmitrij Katkov is working on enhancing the quality of the professional development programs offered by London School of Economics. He has been engaged in consulting projects for the United Nations, HSBC, LVMH. He is an avid reader. In spare time he enjoys travelling and tasting the world.
Over 10 years of professional experience. Started career in the Brokerage House of Alior Bank working as a Stock Broker and subsequently Investment Advisory Manager. Since 2014 has been working in UBS, currently at the position of Local Head/Finance Business Partner within Wealth Management EMEA Finance team.  CFA charterholder, licensed Investment Advisor and Stock Broker. Passionate about financial markets and finance overall.
Piotr Polanowski is responsible for managing corporate finance transactions in both the public and private sectors, equity and debt financing, equity and asset valuations, restructuring and financial analysis and due diligence within transaction processes. Piotr Polanowski has been engaged in the corporate finance advisory and investment banking since 2000. He holds the title of Chartered Financial Analyst and is Vice President of the CFA Society Poland. He participates in domestic and international arbitrage disputes and court proceedings as an expert witness.

CFA Society Poland is one of the 146 member societies of CFA Institute. It was established on April 14th, 2004. There are local member societies in more than 70 countries/territories, and have more than 135,000 members in 150 countries/territories.
